A computer laboratory for Bethel Methodist Junior
Secondary School (JSS) students in Takoradi (approximately equivalent to
our 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in the
U.S.) was established so that the students would have the opportunity to
acquire at an early age, the computer skills so important in the world
today. The computer center was set up utilizing donated equipment
collected from individuals and organizations in the United States.
Computer training sessions were conducted as part of that
effort in order to familiarize students and teachers with the
equipment.
